No, there's no guitar in this piece, because the title's in reference to Say Anything's "Admit It!!!" ("I do just fine, my car and my guitar") and... she has a skateboard... transportation... ahaha......

...anyway I did this for three reasons. First was because I found this great stock picture by obscured-stock: [link]
Second, needed an excuse to incorporate Gatsby's American Dream into a deviation... yet again.
Three, just too get better at vector art. I'm pleased with the outcome but still need to get my ass on Illustrator more, more, MORE.... more. Still can't do backgrounds for shit. Just random ADD crap I did for this one.

Go through all of ~obscured-stock's pics. Good gallery.

edit: just fixing placement of the eye and some hair mishaps... I feel like a couple things screwed up when I was transfering objects around that I didn't realize... oh well.

Excellent job. :+fav: Not sure about the black outlines, though.

hmm can you be more specific? I know her right arm outline's a bit sporadic and her left hand looks a little gimp-like, so perhaps that's what you mean.

What I mean is, the stroke-only, no-fill outlines on her don't fit the rest of the vector. It's a solid-colour-shape vector, as I like to call them. Stroke-only outlines are usually better for line-art vectors in my opinion.

Outlines are still great, though! But in this type of vector, a fill-only outline works much better, as it's more dynamic.

I hope you know what I mean. :)

Ah. Well the only stroke-only vectors I have are a few single strands of hair. Everything else is a fill in that's basically a mock stroke-only outline because I haven't figured out how to manipulate the brush tool just yet.

I know what you mean though. That's the kind of adjusting/learning I need to do. Thanks.
